Practical action. Visible impact.
TAD’s work connects educational opportunity, preventive health, empowerment, environmental responsibility, and cultural life.
Closing the 2022–2023 Winter Project
TAD concluded its winter project at Al-Najdeh Al-Shaabieh dispensary in Ansar, South Lebanon. Working with the medical team, the initiative vaccinated older adults and children against seasonal influenza and provided people in need with joint-pain ointments and supportive cold remedies.
This activity completed a project that reached Beirut, the Bekaa, the North, and the South. TAD thanks everyone who helped deliver this assistance to local communities.
Educational achievements across borders
Throughout 2022, TAD advanced university twinning projects and built academic connections in Russia, Cyprus, France, Lebanon, and other countries.
More than 150 students received accessible academic guidance, logistical support, or scholarships. At the time of the project report, 120 students were studying in Russia, 10 in Cyprus, five in France, and five at the Lebanese University. Ten received full scholarships, and TAD covered required expenses for four serious achievers. Special support was also offered to Lebanese students whose studies in Ukraine were interrupted.
For the Love of Anwar
TAD adopted the name “For the Love of Anwar” in tribute to Dr. Anwar Allouh, widely known as a doctor for people in need, and in keeping with its strategy of healthcare without exception.
At his clinic in Hermel, the association organized a health day that included vaccinations for children, older adults, and people with chronic conditions; the distribution of medicines and ointments; and free medical consultations, blood-pressure checks, and diabetes screening. TAD hopes the clinic will remain open to every patient and that health activities will continue in Hermel and throughout Lebanon.
Cholera Prevention and Treatment Seminar
At the invitation of Darat Tripoli Al-Khayriya, TAD took part in a medical seminar on cholera, its symptoms, and ways to prevent it. The association provided natural preventive cold remedies, a blood-pressure monitor, and a complete blood-glucose testing kit.
Doctors, specialists, and community advocates explained prevention, sanitation, and food-safety measures in a collaborative effort to protect public health and wellbeing.
“Kharkiv Train No. 19” Book Signing
TAD co-sponsored the signing of engineer Saad Mikhael Aoun’s book “Kharkiv Train No. 19” and his art exhibition “A Painting from Every Valley,” attended by the association’s president and members.
Hand in Hand for a Clean Environment
Clean cities reflect public awareness, signal progress, and play an essential role in preventing disease. At the initiative of TAD’s president, local residents helped clean Achrafieh’s historic Syriac Quarter on October 15 and 16, 2022.
A clean, healthy environment supports a happier life, and TAD aims to repeat this initiative in more neighborhoods and regions.

Learning, skills, and greater participation
TAD supports women’s empowerment by creating opportunities for learning, skills development and greater economic and social participation.
Through workshops, training sessions and capacity-building activities, we aim to equip women with practical skills, knowledge and tools that can strengthen their confidence, enhance their professional opportunities and support greater independence.
Our approach focuses on accessible, practical initiatives that respond to the evolving needs of women and their communities.

Care for stray and vulnerable animals
TAD is committed to promoting animal welfare as an integral part of responsible community development.
Our efforts focus on assisting stray and vulnerable animals through food and clean water, basic care, and support when an animal is injured, abandoned or in need of veterinary attention. These actions are currently carried out on a limited scale, responding to needs as they arise.
TAD is committed to developing this area of action and gradually expanding its capacity to support animal welfare in Lebanon. Future efforts may include broader access to veterinary care, vaccination and sterilization, in collaboration with qualified professionals and specialized partners.
No projects are available in this pillar yet.
